Barren's Distillery + Restaurant

Located on the sunny side of Camden harbor, Barren's tasting room and restaurant provide local spirits as well as locally sourced food. You won't want to miss this one.

Innkeeper's Tip: Consider making a trip to this distillery's sister business Brodis Blueberries, a 7th-generation blueberry farm in Hope, Maine.



Sweetgrass Winery & Distillery

Also committed to using local ingredients, Sweetgrass has a great selection of wine and spirits made from Maine's fruits and grains. Book a tasting for an even more interesting and educational experience!

Innkeeper's Tip: Leave enough time to explore the walking trails at Carroll Farm, 70 acres of woods and fields with frontage along the St. George River.



Things To Do


Schooner Surprise & Sail Anjacaa

Also located in Camden, Schooner Surprise and Sail Anjacaa both offer two-hour day sails around the bay! You can also book a private charter for an extra special experience.

Coastal Maine Photo Tour

On this photo tour, you will get to explore and photograph mid-coast Maine lighthouses and quaint harbor scenery. You can also learn about the lobster fishing industry and maritime history. It'll be an exciting day that includes both land and sea adventures.

A Romantic Drive to Pemaquid Point

Just about an hour's drive south down one of Maine's most scenic peninsulas is Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, where breathtaking glacially formed rocky cliffs roll into the full force of the Atlantic Ocean.
