Upper Pool - This heated pool is conveniently located for guests in the Highland Cottages, Seagate guest rooms and the St. Andrews guest rooms. The pool area includes a deck with chairs, tables and chaise lounges. It is also conveniently located near the guest center where there is free Wi-Fi internet service.
Lower Pool – This heated pool, completely redesigned and expanded in 2011, is conveniently located for guests in the Breakers Cottages near the waterfront. It includes a wide deck for sunbathing with chaise lounges, chairs and tables. All resort guests and their friends are welcome to use both pools.
Waterfront Deck – This newly designed and expanded deck is available to all guests. It includes two tiered deck areas, each with comfortable chairs and side tables. The decks are connected with walkways and steps that lead down to the water’s edge below. This is an ideal spot from which to watch the sunrise, the sunset, the captivating evening moon and the many local lobster boats and beautiful gaff-rigged windjammers that frequent the bay during the day.
Tennis Court – The Glenmoor’s tennis court is located amidst a beautiful grove of tall, mature trees. The court is swept daily and has court-side tables and chairs with fresh ice water set out for the enjoyment of playing guests and their friends.
Breakfast Room – Every morning the Glenmoor provides a generous continental breakfast in the resort’s breakfast room. The room is conveniently located adjacent to the lobby where the staff is eager and ready to offer suggested activities, make local arrangements and help guests plan their day.
Free Wi-Fi Service and Desktop PC Use – The lobby of the guest center has comfortable couches and chairs for guests looking to use the Glenmoor’s Wi-Fi internet service. For guests without their own electronic devices, the center offers free use of a desktop PC and printer with internet access.
The “Great Lawn” – The centerpiece of the Glenmoor’s grounds is an expansive grass lawn that rolls down from the Highland Cottages to the Breakers cottages by the waterfront. This is an ideal place to relax in one of the many Adirondack chairs dotting the lawn or enjoy the lawn sports available to guests including croquet, badminton, horseshoes and bocce ball.
Glenmoor Evening Fire Pit – One of the Glenmoor’s popular new traditions is to host evening campfires in a stone-lined fire pit that was added to the resort’s Great Lawn in 2011. During the early evening, resort staff build a roaring fire and guests gather from their rooms around the fire to socialize, exchange stories and toast marshmallows.
Room Conveniences – Every guest room and cottage is fully outfitted with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, flat screen TV, hair dryer, telephone and air conditioning. Other items such as irons, ironing boards, extra blankets and additional toiletries are gladly provided on request.
